How we work

Payroll, run with the same care every month

Payroll only really works when it is reliable. We follow a simple, repeatable process so your team is paid accurately and on time, without you having to chase or check.

  1. Get to know your team. A short conversation to understand who is on payroll, how they are paid, and what benefits and pensions are in place.
  2. Set up the right software. We configure HMRC approved software, or work with your existing system, including pension provider integrations.
  3. Process each pay run. You send us the changes, we run the figures, and you get a clear summary to approve before any payslips go out.
  4. Year end and reporting. We handle P60s, P11Ds where applicable, and any HMRC correspondence, so everything closes off cleanly.

Common questions

PAYE, in plain English

What payroll frequencies do you support?

We can run payroll weekly, fortnightly, four weekly, or monthly, whichever suits your business. Many of our clients run monthly for salaried staff and weekly for hourly paid teams, and we are happy to support both side by side.

Do you handle pension auto enrolment?

Yes. We can set up your workplace pension scheme if you do not already have one, manage employee assessments, deal with opt ins and opt outs, and submit declarations of compliance to The Pensions Regulator.

What about statutory pay and benefits in kind?

Statutory sick, maternity, paternity, and adoption pay are all handled as part of the standard service. We can also process benefits in kind through payroll, or via P11Ds at year end, depending on what suits you best.

Can I switch from another payroll provider?

Absolutely. We do this regularly. We will collect the year to date figures from your current provider, set everything up cleanly in our system, and pick up from the next pay run, so your team never sees a wobble.
